More than 1,000 cattle die in Oklahoma wildfires; cattle groups ask Trump to survey damage 

Oklahoma agriculture leaders says more than 1,100 cattle have died from recent wildfires in Oklahoma.

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association have invited President Trump and Vice President Pence to survey the damage of the wildfires that have burned more than 320-thousand acres since April 12.

NCBA is asking the leaders to meet with producers who have lost cattle, homes, and equipment, and the group says it would be a “welcome sign of support.”

Oklahoma’s Governor has declared a state of emergency for 52 counties in the state.
