MITCHELL, S.D. – The Mitchell Chamber & Development Corporation will host a Workforce Summit focused on customer experience Sept. 17 at Mitchell Technical College.
The three-hour workshop will cover hiring, employee training, customer service, leadership and building a culture of excellence.
Participants will work through real-world scenarios and share ideas with other local employers.
Speakers will include Jeff Logan, former president of Logan Luxury Theatres Corporation, and Dr. Nathan Sanderson, executive director of the South Dakota Retailers Association.
The workshop runs from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Nordby Trade Center Lecture Hall.
The event is free, and lunch will be provided, but registration is required.
