The South Dakota Department of Corrections has reported an inmate has died. State prison inmate Hayden France died on September 1st.
The 46 year old France was assigned to the Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield, but was recently transferred to a Sioux Falls hospital where he died following a brief illness.
At the time of his death France was serving sentences from Minnehaha County and Lincoln County for possession of a controlled substance.
