U.S. ethanol production and stocks declined last week.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration says production averaged 1.042 million barrels a day, down 25,000 on the week as margins continues to weigh on the industry, even as it anticipates improved demand with the implementation of year-round E15 use.
Stocks dropped 723,000 barrels to 22.791 million.
The USDA expects record corn for ethanol use this marketing year.
