A disaster aid bill has been introduced by House Democrats
for farmers who lost crops and trees from hurricanes last year.
The package would increase potential benefits for crop
losses, including cotton that was wiped out by Hurricane Michael, and damaged
pecan trees through the Tree Assistance Program.
The more than $1-Billion-dollar package reportedly is
modeled after a 2017 disaster aid program.
