The Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association took its
legislative priorities to St. Paul Wednesday.
MSCA president Mike Landuyt of Walnut Grove tells Brownfield the Association is asking for more regulatory certainty.
“Just make sure that across the state rules are applied the same, and the different offices are handling things the way they were intended to.”
MSCA members visited with lawmakers about expanding access to public lands for grazing.
“DNR did a study and it came back just like we thought (showing) we can use cattle to improve wildlife habitat on DNR ground.
