The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service is about to begin its annual survey of crop and livestock producers.
The data will be used in the Quarterly Hogs and Pigs report out December 21st and the final 2018 corn and soybean production totals January 11th, along with county level estimates for the Farm Service Agency’s Agriculture Risk Coverage program and Risk Management Agency’s insurance programs.
More than 80,000 producers will be sent surveys during the first two weeks of December.
