The new executive director of the Soil Health Partnership is “impressed
by how energized the broad community is about soil health.” Shefali Mehta tells
Brownfield Ag News the Soil Health Summit just past is the biggest that’s been
held and the first open to the public. She says, however, plans for additional
summits are on hold. “A lot has changed in this landscape even in the last two years,”
said Shefali, “and we want to make sure that whatever we do has the highest value
for our farmers, agronomists and everyone who’s involved.”
