Strip trials conducted across Missouri are shedding light on
ideal timing for cover crop termination. John Lory at the University of
Missouri tells Brownfield trials show slight yield differences when soybeans
are planted “into the green”.
“I think we’re helping farmers better understand the levers that make a
difference on how to be successful consistently with cover crops,” Lory told
Brownfield Ag News Tuesday during one of a series of meetings held in
Boonville, Missouri, to explain 2018 strip trial results to farmers.
