The City of Mitchell has ceased plowing streets within the City. Crews have opened all catch basins, culverts and drains. The Street Department is asking residents be patient and let the slush in the roads dissipate as the weather warms. This will allow all drains and culverts to remain unplugged and draining. It will also keep driveways opened up and less work for the homeowners. Crews will go around and clean up problem areas as needed.
