A 39 year old man from Chancellor has been sentenced in federal court to 25 years in prison following his conviction for production of child pornography.
Marquis Lavelle Jordan was also sentenced to five years of supervised release, and he must register as a sex offender for 25 years once released from prison.
The conviction stemmed from incidents between June 16, 2024, and June 24, 2024, when Jordan supplied a runaway juvenile female with drugs and alcohol and forced her to perform oral sex on him while he recorded the act with his cell phone.
Jordan was indicted by a federal grand jury in February 2025 and pleaded guilty on June 1, 2026. He was sentenced August 31st, 2026.
