A 75 year old man from Brooklyn, Wisconsin man died Friday in a single-vehicle crash near Pukwana.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety reported around 11:35 am, the driver of a Ford F-250 was traveling westbound on I-90 near mile marker 273 when the vehicle began moving towards the median. The driver attempted to correct before the Ford went over the median crossover and rolled. The driver sustained fatal injuries. His 67 year old male passenger from Chaseburg, Wisconsin was taken to a Chamberlain hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries. Both were wearing seatbelts.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is leading the crash investigation, which ic ongoing.
Names of the people involved have not been released pending notification of family members.
