Creed III‘s Michael B. Jordan made his Saturday Night Live hosting debut over the weekend, along with musical guest Lil Baby.
Jordan used part of his monologue to joke about his much publicized split from model Lori Harvey after more than a year of dating.
After plugging Creed III, which also marked his feature film directing debut, the 35-year-old actor added, “But right after that, I went through my very first public breakup.”
“Most people after a breakup are like, ‘I’m going to get in better shape.’ But I was already in Creed shape!” he continued. “So I had to be like, ‘All right, I guess I’ll learn a new language.'”
“Anyway, estoy en Raya,” he joked.
That led to SNL castmembers Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim and Punkie Johnson taking turns trying to land the handsome actor.
The episode also featured a pair of musical performances from Lil Baby, who delivered his Billboard top 10 hits “California Breeze” and “Forever.”
The Atlanta rapper appeared on SNL once before, helping DJ Khaled out with his performance of “You Stay” in 2019.
Creed III hits theaters March 3, 2023.
