The USDA says corn and soybean harvest continued to progress ahead of the five-year average pace last week in Nebraska.
Fifteen percent of the state’s corn crop has been harvested, ahead of the 10% average, with 70% of the crop mature.
Fourteen percent of soybeans have been harvested, near 12% last year and 13% on average, with 86% of the crop dropping leaves.
USDA says 60% of the state’s winter wheat crop has been planted, ahead of the five-year average of 51%.
