U.S. ethanol exports topped 1.2 billion gallons last year.
The Renewable Fuels Association says the 2021 ethanol export volume was the fifth largest on record, even as December’s exports fell 21% from November to 117.9 million gallons. During December, Canada was the top destination for the ninth month in a row, followed by India, South Korea, Brazil, and Nigeria.
2021 exports of distillers dried grains with solubles were 11.6 million tons, the third largest on record, with December exports at 933,882 tons, down 8% on the month, mainly to Mexico, South Korea, and Vietnam.
