Ohio experienced cooler than
normal temperatures and less than normal rainfall last week.
The USDA says conditions
were ideal for harvest across much of the state although corn maturity and
percent harvested is behind normal levels.
As of Sunday, 26 percent of
Ohio’s corn crop is harvested.
Fifty-five percent of
soybeans are harvested.
The good to excellent ratings were 36 percent for corn and 35 percent for soybeans.
