60% of Minnesota corn, 63% of soybeans rated good to excellent

The USDA says crop conditions held steady in Minnesota last week.

The state’s corn crop is rated 60% good to excellent with 44% of the crop silking.

Soybeans are rated 63% good to excellent with 66% of the crop blooming.

The oat harvest reached 6% completion with 95% of the crop headed.

And, the second cutting of alfalfa hay is 63% finished compared to the five-year average of 59%.
