Nebraska crops remain in good shape despite topsoil moistures that are 30 percent short.
The USDA says 86 percent of the corn is in good to excellent condition.
Soybeans aren’t far off, checking in at 82 percent good to excellent.
And nearly all of Nebraska’s winter wheat acres have headed, with 63 percent of the crop rated good to excellent.
