A good hay window in west-central MO

The timely rains this spring are helping hay ground and pasture grow.

David Dick from Pettis County in west-central Missouri says his first cutting of hay hasn’t happened yet, but he could start this week.

“We’re sitting ready to go, but we’re not going to poke the bear and we’re having good luck. We’re gonna stay with it.”

Dick says the opportunity to harvest quality hay hasn’t been missed yet.
