Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook for February 19 – 23 calls for near- or above-normal temperatures and precipitation across most of the country. Colder-than-normal conditions will be confined to the western Gulf Coast region and parts of the North, including the Pacific Northwest and the upper Great Lakes region.

Meanwhile drier-than-normal weather should be limited to an area stretching from Oregon and California into portions of the Desert Southwest and southern High Plains.
