
U.S. ethanol production declined slightly last week.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration says production averaged one million, seventy-one thousand barrels a day, down 3,000 on the week.
Ethanol stocks increased 3.6% to an 18-week high of 22.9 million gallons. All areas except the Rocky Mountains and the West Coast increased inventories.
Ethanol exports averaged 196,000 barrels a day, a jump of 72,000 from the previous week, the largest volume increase since the EIA began reporting estimates in May.
