Looking ahead, the 6- to 10day outlook calls for above-normal temperatures across the central one-third of the U.S. and parts of the Southeast, while cooler-than-normal conditions will cover the Northeast and Far West. 

Meanwhile, near- or above-normal precipitation should fall nationwide, with portions of the western and central U.S. having the greatest likelihood of experiencing wet weather.
