American Coalition for Ethanol CEO Brian Jennings is leery of President Trump’s plan to mitigate the impact of RFS waivers.
“What we know of it is that the package would fall far short of what is needed to correct the abuse of the small refinery exemptions by EPA.”
He tells Brownfield ACE simply wants the EPA to follow the law.
“That means if they issue a hardship exemption from complying with the Renewable Fuel Standard, the biodiesel or ethanol that small refinery was supposed to blend should be reallocated to the rest of the refiners.
