The EPA has yet to provide the American Coalition for
Ethanol (ACE) with certainty the year-round E15 rule will be in place for the
summer driving season.
Senior vice president Ron Lamberty says ACE met with EPA officials during its annual DC fly-in this week.
“I think they still have the goal of getting it done in time for June first, but that got complicated when they added in some parts from the regs rule that had not passed before.”
He tells Brownfield those proposals would make it impossible for some retailers to continue blending E15.
