The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) says there is year over year, month over month growth in some farm equipment sales.
AEM’s Curt Blades tells Brownfield growth is seen in sales of large horsepower tractors, four-wheel drive tractors and self-propelled combines.
“There’s some real bright spots that we like to point to with the farm equipment right now. It sort of reflects this theme of cautious optimism that our manufacturers have been telling us has been going on for the last couple of months.”
Blades says it’s part of the ag equipment replacement market that began last September.
