An American Farm Bureau economist is confident the USDA places a high
priority on getting the February 8th World Ag Supply and Demand Estimates
out as scheduled but worries about other reports being out on time. Veronica Nigh
tells Brownfield reports issued less frequently, such as the Ag Census, due out
February 21, would be getting finishing touches during the time the government
was shut down.
“That just means that the data that is currently out in the marketplace just
keeps getting older and less relevant,” Nigh told Brownfield Ag News Monday.
