A central Missouri farmer who runs a diversified farm with her sons says she has learned not to go big with her poultry egg operation. Tina Wibberg, who farmers east of Jefferson City, near Taos, attended the MU Pearls of Production event and was on the tour of Stanton Brothers egg farm in Centralia, “It was kind of an eye-opener as far as either go big or stay small. So, for me, it’s going to encourage me to stay smaller.”
The Stanton Brothers say there are FDA regulations that are preventing them from expending their business.
