An ag economist says he thinks the U.S. and China could come to an agreement by March first.
Purdue University’s Wally Tyner says
it’s in the interest of both countries to reach a deal soon.
“Just in the agriculture sector alone, the U.S. loses $2.6 billion a year and China loses $2.6 billion a year,” he says. “So there’s an incentive for both sides to get together and resolve this thing.”
