The USDA, National 4-H Council and Cooperative Extension have committed to reaching 10 million youth through the 4-H program by 2025.
“It’s a big, audacious goal.”
Deputy Secretary of Agriculture Stephen Censky was one of the signers of a memorandum of understanding completed during National 4-H Conference in Washington D.C. this week.
“It really recommitted and underscored this great partnership that we have and what our individual and unique roles are in supporting 4-H.”
Censky tells Brownfield investment in 4-H is needed to create tomorrow’s leaders and each group plans to play a part in the outreach.
