An agronomist says it will be critical to continue scouting fields throughout the growing season.
AgriGold’s Mitch Greve tells Brownfield “growing a corn or soybean crop is a continuum of learning. You’re developing your yield story not only for this year, but also taking what you can learn and the problems you have now and trying to fix that for next year.”
He says monitoring crop progress will benefit growers.
“Be looking for what your stand count is and what kind of plant you have you there,” he says.
