An agronomist with Ohio-based Maria Stein Grain says soybeans are looking good despite late-season disease pressure in the Eastern Corn Belt.
Bill Mullen says although farmers have reported frogeye leaf spot and sudden death syndrome, there hasn’t been a lot of damage.
“Our soybeans are going to be as good or better than we’ve seen in the past couple years,” he says.
He says he thinks corn yields will also be good, but there have been some crop development issues.
