Another slow week for soybean export sales

The USDA says wheat export sales for the week ending October 18th were towards the low end of pre-report estimates, while corn and soybeans fell short of most analysts’ expectations. Physical shipments of corn remain on pace to meet USDA projections for the 2018/19 marketing year.

Wheat came out at 442,600 tons (16.3 million bushels), down 7% from both the week ending October 11th and the four-week average. Unknown destinations purchased 175,200 tons and Mexico bought 84,800 tons.
