Another wet week across most of Missouri kept many producers out of the fields.
The USDA says 49% of corn is planted, up a few points on the week, but well behind the five-year average of 74%, with 19% of the crop emerged, compared to 39% on average.
Soybean planting is 3% complete, compared to 11% typically this time of year.
Wet weather is also delaying rice and cotton planting.
