The USDA reports that as of the week ending September 20th, corn export inspections for the 2018/19 marketing year remain ahead of the 2017/18 pace, while sorghum, soybeans, and wheat continue to lag. The relatively slow pace of those other commodities either, in the case of soybeans and sorghum, reflect trade tensions or, in the case of wheat, a lot of global competition for export market share.
Wheat came out at 409,592 tons, down 1,083 from the week ending September 13th and 93,133 from the week ending September 21st, 2017.
