A winter storm is expected this week after spring-like
weather covered much of the Midwest this past weekend.
“This will be a wet, at least a wind-driven packing snow,” said Brownfield Meteorologist
Greg Soulje. “Livestock are going to be in jeopardy here, not to mention we’re
still in clean-up and recovery mode coming off the flooding.”
Canadian cold air is being pulled down to the Upper Midwest, while warm, wet
weather will remain to the south of that, he said.
