The U.S. Dairy Export Council says October was the seventh straight month for increases in dairy exports.
Total values increased 24 percent from 2021 to nearly $820 million and volumes were up nine percent.
Exports of whey (+17%), cheese (+4%), and nonfat dry milk/ skim milk powder (+11%) all posted gains for the month, supported by widespread demand.
While cheese exports have increased for 16 consecutive months, the last half of this year has been at a slower rate.
