Corn is rated 72% good to excellent with 62% dented and 15% mature. Soybeans are rated 69% good to excellent with 82% of the crop setting pods and 3% coloring.
Central Arkansas farmer Robert Stobaugh tells Brownfield despite having to replant and three-plant a quarter of his soybeans due to weather. “They’re holding pretty well. I’m not going to say we’re in fantastic shape, but it’s not too bad given the weather circumstance.”
Cotton is rated 78% good to excellent with 76% setting bolls and 1% opening.
Rice is rate 67% good to excellent with 2% of the crop mature.
