Ninety-two percent of the soybeans are planted, one percent less than last year, but still 17% ahead of the five-year average.  Eighty-four percent of the soybeans have emerged.

Ninety-three percent of the cotton has been planted, which is one percent below average.  One percent of cotton is squaring.  Twenty-nine percent of the cotton is in excellent condition, with 43% in good condition, and 22% in fair condition.

Ninety-six percent of Arkansas rice has emerged, a full 10% more than the five-year average.  Seventeen percent of the crop is in excellent condition.  Fifty-nine percent of the rice is in good condition, and 22% is in fair condition.
