The Arkansas State Plant Board has drafted a regulation that would restrict “over-the-top” dicamba applications in 2019 in place of an all-out ban.
The proposed rule includes a one-mile buffer zone around research stations, and, organic and other sensitive crops from April 16th to May 20th. The proposal would also restrict mixing glyphosate with dicamba applications during that time. Dicamba application from May 21st through October 31st would be banned in Arkansas.
THIS year, the Arkansas dicamba ban was from April 16th through the end of October.
