Moderate to heavy rainfalls have slowed Arkansas’ harvest pace. According to the latest crop report from the
USDA, 51 percent of soybeans have been harvested, that’s 9 percent behind the
5-year average.
Eighty-nine percent of the rice crop has been harvested, 4
points behind the 5-year average.
Seventy-nine percent of peanuts have been dug and 34 percent
harvested.
Ninety-seven percent of the corn crop has been harvested.
Twenty-rive percent of the winter wheat crop has been
planted with 13 percent emerged.
Fifty-four percent of pastures and rangelands are called
good to excellent.
