A west-central Minnesota farmer says the Land of 10,000
Lakes could use a little less water this spring.
Noah Hultgren of Raymond does not expect to begin fieldwork until the latter half of April at the earliest.
“We’re still looking at a lot of lakes in the fields and ditches. We’re not as bad off obviously as some, but we are still weeks away.”
He tells Brownfield warmer temperatures and even a few light rains would help.
