Iowa Congresswoman Cindy Axne is urging passage of bipartisan supply chain legislation she is cosponsoring now that Congress has passed the infrastructure bill.
The Democrat says the four bills in her ‘Supply Chain Solutions Agenda’ would alleviate bottlenecks, recruit more U.S. workers to in-demand careers, and promote public-private cooperation in domestic manufacturing and international shipping. She says they will update trade and shipping policies and support Iowa’s exports.
Axne says her agenda also calls for passage of the Build Back Better Act which will create – with the Infrastructure Investment Act – nearly 2-and-half million jobs by 2025.
