Missouri Governor Mike Parson announced today Bayer’s North American Crop Science Division is moving 500 jobs to Creve Coeur, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis.
The
announcement comes after Parson’s trip to Europe where he met with Bayer CEO
Werner Baumann. Parson says the $164 Million move has been in the works since
before the trip.
“The reality
of it is that’s why we did some of the legislation we did this year,” Parson
says.
