Republican U.S. Senator Roy Blunt of Missouri says there’s a better chance for passage of the USMCA than a few weeks ago. In an interview with Brownfield Ag News, Blunt says, “I’ve actually been encouraged by some things the Speaker of
the House has finally said on that. And, frankly, I think there are a lot of
reasons that the House needs to be paying attention right now to the job that
we’re supposed to do.”
Speaker Pelosi has said she would not let the impeachment
inquiry get in the way of the work being done on moving the USMCA forward.
