Soybean planting in Brazil is off to a record fast start in many areas of the country.
Market analyst Arlan Suderman with INTL FCStone says that’s significant.
“Because that means soybeans available for export a little bit sooner. They’ll be harvesting soybeans in January and they’ll be making it to the ports by the end of January,” Suderman says. “That’s good news for China, that’s trying to bridge the gap by essentially blocking U.S.
