Brownfield’s meteorologist Greg Soulje says an abnormal weather pattern is expected to continue.
“Not much optimism on this next weather system for the central corn belt and some very late season outbreaks of severe weather from about the Black Hills east through Minnesota, parts of Wisconsin and sections of Iowa.”
He says rain isn’t expected to reach the states that really need it.
“Some of these rains which have been drenching through the northern plains and upper Midwest, I don’t think they are really going to amount to a whole hill of beans in sections of the central Corn Belt.
