Representative Nikki Budzinski of Illinois is being recognized by Growth Energy for her work to support homegrown biofuels.
Budzinski received the Fueling Growth Award during Growth Energy’s Biofuels Summit this week. CEO Emily Skor says in just a few short months Budzinski has shown leadership and initiative on behalf of biofuels in the US House and they are excited to have a new champion fighting for biofuels in Congress.
Budzinski has helped introduce the Next Generation Fuels Act, Sustainable Aviation Fuels Accuracy Act and the Fuels Parity Act as part of her efforts to support family farmers, lower gas prices and reduce emissions.
