Calving season is going well on a farm in northern Minnesota.
Shayne Isane and his family raise around 300 head of cattle in Roseau County. He says early spring weather has been mostly favorable.
“Actually, with the lack of snow we started today moving some cattle out to pasture (and) out to drier ground. So that’s been welcome to be able to do that early this year, where in some years with a lot of snow we’re not able to do that.
