Someone, somewhere must have at some point come up with the top five or 10 warning signs of a political apocalypse. I’ve lived in Washington, DC, going on 40 years, and I’ve not seen this city as close to unraveling as it seems to be today. The good news is that most of this stuff doesn’t, it’s hoped, affect your day-to-day lives; the bad news is, it could.
Developments over the last week do little to engender confidence in either party or either chamber.
