
Chicago Mercantile Exchange live and feeder cattle futures were lower, pressured by the modestly higher move in corn and follow through technical selling. December live was down $1.05 at $129.27 and February was $1.52 lower at $134.22. November feeder cattle were $1.07 lower at $156.57 and January was down $1.45 at $156.12.
Direct cash cattle trade was quiet to round out the week. Deals ranged from $124 to $126 in the South, steady to $2 higher than the previous week’s weighted averages.
